North Shore Latin Dance Party
(Public and Private Instructional Party Service)

The North Shore Latin Dance party is an instructional dance party service offered by Greg Coles Dance and Drum. Public and private parties are held regularly and by request. Learn to dance up to four Street Latin dances while having a blast, laughing and learning the whole time!

Public parties are at Rockafellas in Salem every Wednesday from 8:00 – 11:30 PM at Spirits in Salem from 9:00 – 12:30 PM. For Rockafellas party, the drop-in rate per night is $15 per person; the prepaid rate is just $12 per night when you buy 10 nights in advance for $120; and includes two 45-minute lessons. The first lesson includes intermediate-level instruction on salsa partnering followed by beginner-level instruction on chachacha, bachata, merengue and salsa. After these lessons, the party continues for two more hours. This is an excellent opportunity to meet fun people andhave a great time. The Spirits party is all dancing without the lesson for $10 for the night.

Private parties are by request. With private parties the emphasis is on quick learning, lots of laughing and loads of fun. Picante Soul, Greg’s new multi- lingual, mixed-genre band, is available subject to availability. Custom DJ service is included to ensure that all of the music is exactly what you want to hear at your party. The dance instruction is spaced out into four fun segments. In each segment are a 15-minute dance lesson, a 15-minute practice session (to the music for the type of dance we just taught) and a 15-minute break for party members to continue dancing, eat, drink and/or mingle. This process is repeated one, two or three times, depending on the number of dances we teach. A dance team is available to help party members get onto the floor with confidence.

These parties keep moving, the learning is light and fun, friends get to enjoy one another and everyone has a blast! The price (including all instruction, the dance team and custom DJ service) is $10 per person witha $500 minimum and a $2,500 maximum, depending on the number of people at your party. For instance, a party with 20 people costs $500, one with 60 people costs $600, one with 250 people costs $2,500 and one with 300 people costs $2,500.
